Being the home of Underworld Adventure Ltd.’ s cave operation, the brand new building in Charleston is not just home to excitement and the first and last point of outstanding cave adventures it is also home to the Underworld Adventure Café.

Seddonville Hotel is situated 50kms north of Westport on the banks of the beautiful Mokihinui River and only 3.5kms from the Start/Finish of The Old Ghost Road cycle & tramping track. We offer full bar facility, free Wi-Fi, pool table, dart board and a warm open fire.

Centrally located at Gentle-Annie is New Zealand’s only restaurant in a once operating cowshed. Situated facing the sea, surrounded by gardens and grassy play areas, eating is enjoyed either outdoors or indoors in a lovingly restored shed with local timbers and fish pond set amongst ferns. The Cowshed is an ideal venue for functions such as weddings, conventions and family reunions. Open seasonally and functions can be arranged for anytime of the year. Hours vary.
The Cowshed Cafe also serves as the Gentle Annie Seaside Camping Ground’s (open year round) lounge and information area. Sheltered and private camping sites are set amongst landscaped gardens, all within a couple minutes walk to the river and beach. Free wifi, information display boards and large maps of the area show casing the many things to see and do in the area, are available in the Cowshed. Hot showers, kitchen room, pizza oven, BBQs and outside tables are spread throughout the camping ground.
