Situated down the port end of town on your way to the Kawatiri Trail or beach we specialise in quaility takeaway espresso/coffee as well as freshly made light food. We use C4 Krank Coffee which is roasted in Christchurch. We use local and seasonal ingredients whenever available so our food lines are constantly changing. We also produce an extensive range of jams and chutneys using predominantly local ingredients which are ideal for everyday use or as gifts. These are made the old fashioned way like Grandma used to make and are a great way of taking a little bit of the Coast home with you.

Yellow House Café and Restaurant Westport started its first year in March 2003, to provide a health conscious local business for the community.

After closing the doors in 2013, we reopened in December 2016 for the summer seasons. Having a newer vision of providing a more environmentally friendly and health conscious café. Offering Mediterranean inspired cooking with a passion for health, wellness and flavour. Focusing on diverse dietary options such as vegan, dairy free, gluten-free and kosher meals.
